Testimonials
Therapy:
“I did a big piece of work with Zoe, lasting several years. When I started therapy it was for a specific difficulty, but as time went on I was seeing such positive changes in my life, it felt like something much bigger was happening.
I find Zoe very authentic, grounding, consistent and caring. She has a wide base of knowledge and experience, so we could come at things from different angles, depending on what I was interested in at the time.
Zoe gave me a space to try out new parts of myself, and I’ve learned so much about my ‘process’, my nervous system and my relationships. I now feel like I know exactly who I am, what I feel, and what I want out of life.”

"Zoe is the kind of therapist that gives you the space to be your authentic self completely, and without judgement. I came to her struggling with a bereavement, depression, and anxiety, with the hope of “fixing” them. Zoe has helped me to accept that my feelings don’t need fixing, and has given me a deeper understanding of my experiences so that I can work with how I feel in a healthier way. I can now show up for myself, and as a result I have a much healthier connection to myself and those around me."
“A truly fantastic therapist. Zoe creates room for you to fully express yourself, completely authentically. Her approach is come as you are; nothing is off the table. With Zoe's help, I've been able to process and work through issues that have otherwise felt impossible. The success and progress I have seen in all personal and professional aspects of my life, I can safely say have been helped by Zoe. Take the first step; you're in very safe hands.”
“I can’t fault Zoe at all. When I first started therapy with her, all I wanted was to be fixed immediately and be told how to get better. I didn’t mention this to her, but she caught me out on this in the first session and knew what I had thought. Fast forward 6 years and having on and off long-term therapy sessions she has been a listening ear and has offered guidance to someone who was lost in this world and experienced some neglect in their childhood. She is kind and empathetic, and I always looked forward to our sessions when a week had been particularly tough. A lot has happened in the last 6 years, and I couldn’t have navigated this period without her support.”
“I had Zoe as my therapist for roughly 2 and a half years. I felt immediately at ease and safe not just because she is very professional but because her therapy spaces always put the person seeking therapy first.
Zoe helped me deal with a lot of personal problems, particularly relating to anxiety and relationships. I grew to understand my own mind which was hugely beneficial to my mental health.”
“After years of being passed around lackluster NHS services, I was skeptical about how well therapy would work for me, but it only took a couple of sessions with Zoe for me to discover how effective therapy could be with the right person. She has helped me with both ongoing and historic trauma, using a range of techniques beyond simply talking about it. I feel free, safe, and secure for the first time in my life, and I have Zoe to thank for that.”
“Zoe has been my therapist for almost 2 years now, and I can say wholeheartedly that from our very first session she has created such a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for me. She has helped me work through and process so many things that I would not have been able to do alone. Zoe has helped me become the best & strongest version of myself yet! Thank you.”
“"I was in therapy with Zoe [.....] working on anxiety, stress and depression, through a deeper exploration of my processes, significant relationships and some major bereavements. Zoe is a skilled and experienced therapist who creates very strong connections built on empathy, trust and constructive challenge. She works creatively, able to apply a wide range of techniques and she’s extremely good at holding onto key details and making relevant connections. Working with Zoe has made a fundamental and hugely positive difference to my mental health and wellbeing. I would recommend her without hesitation - she’s a lovely person to work with and a great therapist.”
Supervision:
"Zoe is an incredible supervisor that does not only role model the real nature of therapy but she also maintains a high standard of ensuring that supervision fulfils its purpose. Personally, I am very particular and needed to work with someone that I knew would be honest, as well as trustworthy. I felt that from the first time I spoke to Zoe and this only enhanced our working relationship in supervision. Zoe demonstrates a real passion for the therapy field and I always felt that she had a passion for me to grow. For someone as particular as myself, I was both grateful and amazed at how much I felt able to share, which also influenced my growth as a practitioner. I have experienced different supervisors in my career and Zoe stands out as the best I have had - keeping in mind; I did like my other supervisors too. Zoe's commitment to accomodating, supporting and challenging me to grow has been such a unique part of my journey. Her ability to recognise my background/interest in Psychology and utilise that for my development was crucial for me. It always kept my interests sparked but more importantly, it was relevant to my learning and practice. When I resume adult work, I would be contacting Zoe before anyone else.
Thank you for everything Zoe."
"Working with Zoe in supervision always feels like a collaborative effort. I feel that within our sessions there is a blend of self-reflection, encouragement, support, and challenge. It was important to me when looking for a supervisor that I found someone who wasn't afraid to challenge me in order to facilitate growth in relation to my personal and professional development - Zoe has the balance of knowing when to challenge and when to encourage me to reflect, and is always open to any questions that I have. I'm someone who doesn't trust easily but I feel safe, heard, and understood in supervision and have built a good trusting relationship. I feel able to talk about my work without fear of criticism and judgement, and have really noticed my growth as a counsellor over the years since working with Zoe from starting out as a trainee to becoming a fully qualified counsellor. I would highly recommend her to all supervisees".
